The pinnacle of analogue/digital conversion technology has to be the new Apogee Symphony I/O. It will truly revolutionise your expectations…

Within the pro audio industry very few companies can claim to be consistently viewed as world leaders in their field. However, over the past 25 years Apogee Electronics can claim just that. Its analogue to digital converters and Big Ben master studio clock are revered in the industry and have been the complete studio solution in countless recording studios worldwide and countless multi-platinum selling records.

In keeping with the company ideology and commitment to be at the cutting edge of technology, Apogee has once again redefined the standard of AD/DA conversion by which all other converters are to be judged. Introducing the new Apogee Symphony I/O…

APOGEE SYMPHONY I/O - BEST SOUND BY FAR

The Symphony I/O, put simply, is Apogee’s best sounding converter to date, with next generation converter technology resulting in crystal-clear recording clarity, transparency and definition. With unparalleled connectivity and the versatility of complete I/O configuration, the Apogee Symphony I/O has been designed with the modern engineer and producer firmly in mind.

No longer are you confined to one recording platform, studio location or existing equipment. Apogee, with the Symphony I/O, has truly made its best sounding converter fully adaptable for any recording, mixing or post production application

APOGEE SYMPHONY I/O - SUPER-SIZE TO XL

Symphony I/O has revolutionised what engineers and producers have come to expect from an AD/DA converter through the unit’s unique feature of being completely I/O configurable. This achievement, made possible by the fact that the unit’s I/O cards are modular, allows Symphony to be integrated into almost any existing studio or post production facility providing considerable upgrades to conversion with minimal upset in installation.

Not only that, but now the domestic studio environment can have access to industry-leading conversion without committing to the large I/O count previously dictated by pro units with the installation of just one I/O module.

The key benefit of the module principle, however, is the unit’s potential for growth. As more I/O is needed, the cards can be changed to accommodate the requirements ultimately justifying the Apogee Symphony I/O as an investment and not just another studio upgrade.

APOGEE SYMPHONY I/O - AMPLE SAMPLING

Grammy award-winning producer and engineer Miles Walker, whose recent credits include Rihanna, Katy Perry, Usher and Beyoncé, has now chosen Symphony I/O as the heart of his production set-up, upgrading from his Apogee Rosetta converters. With Apogee Symphony I/O, producers who rely on multiple recording platforms can now seamlessly switch between them without the need for replacing host expansion cards or having expensive multiple units for each system.

Symphony I/O can be easily configured to either Pro Tools HD (TDM or Native) or Logic Studio using the same cable and a simple twist on the encoder knob.

APOGEE SYMPHONY I/O - STATION CREATION

Most fundamental, of course, is how the unit sounds, and testimonials from Jay Z’s engineer and mixer Young Guru are testament to the clarity and sonic fidelity of the conversion. His recent projects with LL Cool J, T.I. and Method Man cement his working practices of achieving the highest sonic quality and fidelity possible and with the Apogee Symphony I/O, the audio quality at every stage of the recording process is uncompromised.
