NORD BEAT 2 - FREE APP FOR NORD DRUM!

Nord have recently released their FREE Nord Beat 2 app, which acts as an innovative iPad step sequencer for their Nord Drum 2 percussion synthesiser. The app features 6 tracks (one for each track of the Nord Drum 2), along with MIDI Clock Sync In/Out for synchronising other MIDI equipment or an iPad app to the Nord Beat 2 sequencer. This feature also allows you to control the Nord Beat 2's tempo from other gear (e.g. a DAW, hardware sequencer, iPad app, etc.). The Nord Beat 2 app has also been updated to include 'Step Modifiers', which can be used to add flam, 32th or 32th triplets to any step in the sequencer for more innovative performances.

The Nord Drum 2 is a powerful analogue-modelling percussion synthesiser. You can connect pad triggers directly to it for integrating it with an electronic drum kit, you can hook it up to the Nord Pad, or you can connect it to another device and trigger it via MIDI.
