sE Electronics sE X1 Studio Bundle

sE Electronics sE X1 & RF-X Reflexion Filter Studio Bundle

The sE Electronics sE X1 Studio Bundle contains an sE X1 condenser microphone, an RF-X Reflexion Filter, shock mount, pop filter and microphone cable.

The sE X1 is an affordable condenser microphone, but don't let its low price fool you, because it's more than capable of producing professional recordings. The sE X1 sounds great when used to record vocals or acoustic instruments, although being a large diaphragm condenser microphone, it can also be used to record other instruments such as percussion.

The RF-X is sE Electronics' lightest and most affordable Reflexion Filter. It essentially acts as a portable vocal booth, by reducing unwanted acoustic reflections that would otherwise bounce off nearby surfaces and be recorded. This allows you to achieve a dryer, less coloured recording, which gives you maximum flexibility for tweaking the audio to fit in with any project.

Of course, sE Electronics offer a range of Reflexion Filters for different needs and budgets. CLICK HERE to find out the difference between each model.

Sontronics Halo

Sontronics Halo

The Sontronics Halo, with its uniquely stylish design, is a dynamic microphone that has been specifically tailored to sound great when recording the output from a guitar amplifier.

Designed and developed in the UK by Sontronics founder Trevor Coley, the Halo was made so that amps recorded through it should sound great without the need to add additional processing to the audio.

The fact that the Halo capsule is suspended on springs means that the capsule is isolated from the stage or studio floor, significantly reducing the risk of it picking up unwanted vibrations that would otherwise affect your sound.

Orange Micro Terror & PPC108 stack

Orange Micro Terror & PPC108 Stack

The Micro Terror head and PPC108 cabinet were designed to be together, so we're giving them away as a bundle!

The Micro Terror head is a 20W solid state amp with Volume, Tone and Gain controls. Despite its portable design, the Micro Terror head can kick out a lot of sound and with its high-tensile steel case, you shouldn't need to worry about taking it on the road.

Whether you're after vintage British character, clean crunch or beefy overdrives, this little amp head can and will deliver!

The Orange PPC108 cabinet is the ideal portable partner for the Micro Terror. It features an 8 inch speaker, which throws out a punchy sound. Plus, like all Orange speaker cabs, it features a rugged construction that is built to last.

Toontrack Drum Fundamentals: Metal bundle

Toontrack Drum Fundamentals Metal Bundle and EZX Metal

Need to create professional-sounding drums but don't have mics, a recording studio or even a drum kit? Or perhaps you're only other option is to work with a drummer who struggles to stay in time? Well, if you're creating metal music, then this Drum Fundamentals pack could be exactly what you need, as it allows you to create professional grooves using just your computer!

First and foremost, the Drum Fundamentals: Metal bundle includes EZdrummer software, which comes packed with 5GB of drum samples for different genres. All samples have been professionally processed so that they are ready to just drop into your tracks. On top of this, EZdrummer also comes with over 8000 MIDI drum loops, which you can use as they are in your own songs, or, because they are MIDI, you can switch sounds and customise the beat!

In addition to EZdrummer software, the Drum Fundamentals: Metal bundle also comes with two of Toontrack's EZdrummer expansion packs. EZX Drumkit from Hell and EZX Metal Machine bolster your sonic arsenal, providing further kits and sounds that are tailored towards the metal genre.

To top it off, the Drum Fundamentals: Metal bundle comes with three extra MIDI libraries. 'Blasts & Fills', 'Death & Thrash' and 'Fill Insanity' can all be used to add natural sounding percussive parts to any project, in combination with your existing percussive hits library.

Although I've covered everything that comes in the Drum Fundamentals: Metal bundle, Toontrack have also been kind enough to provide their new EZX Metal! expansion pack. This adds a further 9 custom kits for EZdrummer, plus a MIDI library created by heavy metal drummer Dirk Verbeuren.

This prize has got to be a metal producer's dream!
