NAMM 2012: AKAI MPC STUDIO

Posted on January 19, 2012 by Joe Stachowiak There have been 0 comments

Akai MPC StudioIntroducing a brand new MPC music production unit from Akai, the MPC Studio. The Studio is the most portable MPC unit to date, with a body that is only 1" thick, meaning that it's trouble free to take it with you wherever you go for the ultimate in portable beat-making. Featuring 16 genuine MPC pads and the famous MPC layout, along with all your standard controls, the Studio differs from its siblings because it fuses the hardware controls of an iconic MPC unit with the processing power of your computer, with which it connects to and is powered from via a USB cable.

For those who want to follow in the footsteps of many of todays great Hip Hop and Dance producers and work on a genuine MPC unit, but want the added flexibility of a hybrid hardware/software unit, look no further than the Akai MPC Studio. We will bring you more information on the Akai MPC Studio as soon as it is announced, so watch this space!
