Native Instruments Maschine Maschine version 1.6 is now available and it's completely FREE to update! Although you will of course already need to own Maschine first!

What's New in Maschine 1.6?

Now you can use any Native Instruments or third party VST or Audio Unit plug-ins directly inside Maschine! You can even create combination chains of plug-ins, e.g. load Massive into Slot 1 and Guitar Rig into Slot 2, and use the Maschine hardware controller to tweak them both! You don't even need to map parameters to the hardware knobs, as it all happens automatically and intuitively!

Plus, Maschine 1.6 also offers a number of improved workflow features such as pad-link, swing per sound, internal audio drag and drop, renaming of audio clips, duplication improvements, and 16 stereo outputs!

And, to ensure that you can get up and running straight away with the new plug-in host features of Maschine 1.6, Native Instruments are chucking in Komplete Elements, which includes over 1000 sounds, Abbey Road drums, Vieanna Symphonic Orchestral instruments, 6 Reaktor synthesisers, and 35 Guitar Rig amps! And remember, this is all still completely free!

How to get Maschine 1.6

Maschine 1.6 is free to registered Maschine users, so the first thing you need to do is purchase Maschine and register your product! If you have done this, then all you need to do is visit the Native Instruments Personal Update Manager or your NI Service Center, select the download, and you're good to go!
