Novation have just announced a new product at NAMM - the Novation LaunchKey. Available in 25, 49 and 61 note versions, this excellent range of controller keyboards packs intuitive hands-on control, transport buttons, a synth-action keyboard, powerful software and velocity-sensitive Launchpad pads into a fantastically low priced controller! What's more is that it can even work alongside an iPad, for example, with Novation's new Launchkey iPad synth or Launchpad apps!

The 25 note Novation LaunchKey will feature pitch and mod wheels, an assignable fader, 8 assignable dials and 16 multi-colour launch keys, plus transport controls! The 49 and 61 key versions expand the hands-on experience even further, providing a total of 9 faders and 9 assignable buttons for controlling your DAW and software effects and instruments.

LaunchKey controllers are both Mac and PC compatible, connecting to your computer via a single USB cable. They even come bundled with a large selection of software, including V-Station and Bass Station software synths, Loopmasters samples, the Launchkey and Launchpad iPad apps and Ableton Live Lite, which seamlessly integrates with the keyboard. You can even use the LaunchKey's launch pads to trigger clips in Ableton Live Lite software for creating inspired on-the-fly live performances.
