KRK ERGO UPDATE

Posted on Thu 19 April 2012 in Computer Music

KRK ERGOKRK have released a new software and firmware update for their ERGO Room Correction System. The update improves the process of installation, calibration and configuration, as well as adding support for OSX Lion 10.7.3 and Windows 7 SP1 (32-/64-bit).

As well as this, calibration data can now be stored and recalled (allowing engineers to save multiple settings for a single room and/or for a number of rooms) and the ERGO now allows users to route audio for the 1/4 inch headphone output independently of the master outputs, which is ideal for sending monitor feeds to musicians from a DAW.

The ERGO update is available for free download from the official KRK website: click here for more information.

ERGO is an audio recording interface and room correction system, designed to detect phase and frequency problems in a listening environment and to correct these issues using digital signal processing, resulting in much more accurate mixes that translate better to other playback systems.
