RME Fireface UFX audio interface

We are very excited to announce that RME have launched the new Fireface UFX, a 60-Channel high-end 192 kHz USB AND FireWire high-end audio interface which takes its place as the new flagship to the RME's comprehensive Fireface range.

The new Fireface UFX features 60 channels of audio, digitally controlled high-end preamps, reference class converters and complete 192 kHz operation. It also features ultra-low latency operation with USB OR FireWire combined with the legendary RME driver stability and maintenance. It also includes active jitter suppression, professional reference level support, advanced stand-alone functionality, RME´s unique DIGICheck metering and analysis toolbox and - of course - identical operation on Windows PC and Mac.

But the Fireface UFX not only offers unsurpassable hardware features, but it is also shipped with TotalMix FX, the new digital high-end mixer and signal router, driven by two powerful DSP's, with integrated EQ, Dynamics and Reverb/Echo effects up to 192 kHz plus built-in monitoring control.

The full-blown feature set is backed up by extraordinary usability. At its heart is a bright multi-functional colour display with full front panel metering for all 60 channels plus effect bus, and complete control of all key features - directly from the front of the UFX.

All in all RME´s new Fireface flagship sums up to a highly integrated pro audio solution, a full-blown studio packed in a 19" rack.
