WIN A MASTERCLASS WITH M4SONIC

M4SONIC shot to fame through Youtube, when he began uploading videos of his out-of-this world performances with the Novation Launchpad. In fact, many of his compositions actually feature more than one Launchpad, where he uses one hand to trigger drum clips and the other to play melodic riffs.

After racking up millions of views, M4SONIC's videos catapulted him into the limelight and he's now getting booked to play sell-out gigs, as well as releasing his own tracks.

For this competition, M4SONIC (in association with Novation) is giving you the chance to remix his track, Virus, using the FREE Novation Launchpad App. Two winners will each bag a Launchpad S and Launch Control combo, but that's not all, as one of these winners will also be crowned the overall champion and get a 1 hour masterclass with M4SONIC!

HOW TO ENTER

To enter this competition, you will need to own an iPad or iPad Mini, in order to be able to download and run the Novation Launchpad App, which is available for FREE from the iTunes store. CLICK HERE for more information or to download the Launchpad App.

Then, download the FREE M4SONIC Virus sample pack (CLICK HERE for step-by-step instructions on how to do this) and get practicing to create your best, most exciting performance. Please note that for the purpose of this competition, you are only allowed to use sounds from the Virus sample pack. However, you can add effects, and if you own a Launchpad Mini, Launchpad S and/or Launch Control, you can also use these to aid your performance, as all are compatible with iPads using the relevant adapter.

Once you've got your performance perfected, simply record a video of it and upload it to Youtube. Please make sure that the audio is as clear as possible; if you cannot take a direct feed into your camera/computer, then please make sure that your camera's microphone is positioned so that it picks up the sounds as clearly as possible. Please also bear in mind that the video will need to show off your performance skills to their fullest.

The last date for competition entries is 14th March 2014 and as we mentioned, two winners will each take away a Launchpad S and Launch Control combo! One of these winners will be selected by the number of Youtube 'likes', with the video that receives the most 'likes' during the competition period taking home the prize! You never know, but if your performance is innovative enough, it could even help put your name in the spotlight and launch your own career!

The second winner will be judged by Novation and M4SONIC. Out of these, one overall winner will be selected to receive an additional prize of a 1 hour masterclass with M4SONIC via video chat.
