Arts Awards at Absolute Music

The Arts Award are recognised qualifications graded by Ofqual on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) in partnership with the Department for Education, moderated by Trinity College London and supported by the Arts Council of England.

Absolute Music are running courses for Arts Award at 3 levels:

  • Bronze level 1 Qualification (equivalent: D grade GCSE or level 1 NVQ)
  • Silver level 2 Qualification (equivalent: A grade GCSE or level 2 NVQ)
  • Gold* level 3 Qualification (equivalent: A level or National Diploma)
*Gold level 3 can be included on university entry applications as it equates to 35 UCAS points.

Each Arts Awards level will take the form of a 40 week course during the school term time portions of the year. Each student taking part in the Arts Awards will receive a Band Academy Student Support pack and access to the Artsbox online space to manage their portfolio.
The Arts Award programme at Absolute Music is currently open to 13 to 18 year olds.
