Get all your clip, track, and channel data - centralised and at your fingertips. The new Inspector shows a wealth of data in a small footprint and allows for ergonomic track mixing. With Skylight, it’s also fully collapsible, expandable, dockable and floatable.

Smart Tools — Work smarter not harder
SONAR’s tools have been completely revamped for X1. Most functions are now performed with a single implement that switches automatically based on context. This dramatically speeds up editing and arranging by eliminating the need to constantly switch tools.

Control Bar — Total control freak
Access crucial functions quickly and clearly with the new modular Control Bar. Modules logically group related functions and can be arranged to suit your desire. It’s fully collapsible, expandable, dockable and floatable.

MultiDock — A place for everything
The MultiDock is an integral part of the Skylight interface that allows you to dock and easily access any of SONAR’s views all in one place. The Console View, Step Sequencer, Piano Roll - even instruments and effects can all be contained within one consolidated area. For ultimate flexibility, the MultiDock itself can be quickly collapsed or expanded and can even be placed on an entirely separate monitor.

Screensets — Just the way you remembered it
Per-project Screensets remember every window position, size and state and are accessed directly from the Control Bar or via your qwerty keyboard. Default Screensets are ready-to-go for just about any production scenario imaginable or create your own Screensets for tracking, mixing, jamming or experimenting. Recall everything - exactly the way you left it.

ProChannel— Mix on a professional console any big studio would envy
The mixing console is the nerve center of the studio and at the heart of every great sounding track. Just like in the 'real world', the mixing consoles in DAWs are not all created equal. Available exclusively in SONAR X1 Producer, the ProChannel expands SONAR’s already impressive console with big, epic pro-studio sound built right in to every channel.

SONAR X1c Producer
SONAR X1c Producer is the latest version of the critically-acclaimed SONAR X1 Producer digital audio workstation. It includes the Skylight interface, ProChannel, Smart Tool, unlimited audio and MIDI tracks, a complete suite of instruments and effects, plus all the other features of SONAR X1 Producer. SONAR X1c Producer adds many enhancements including an updated Loop Construction View and Step Sequencer.

SONAR X1 Expanded
SONAR X1 Expanded takes SONAR X1 Producer even further. ProChannel Modularity provides the ability to create custom ProChannel strips. The SoftTube module adds that perfect tube ‘warmth’ to your tracks. Music XML connects SONAR X1 to your favourite notation software. Create custom combinations of audio effects complete with a control panel with FX Chains 2.0.

PC4K S-Type Expander/Gate Module
Add this gate module to ProChannel’s PC4K S-Type bus compressor and Vintage EQ to get that ‘legendary’ large console sound. Mix and match ProChannel modules to build your own custom channel strips.

Z3TA+ 2
Z3TA+ 2 completes the SONAR X1 Production Suite. The legendary waveshaping sound of Z3TA+ (zay’-ta) is back – and better than ever. It features new filters, modulatable waveshapers, flexible effects, expressive control, a gorgeous new interface and 1000 new patches. Used on countless tracks over the past decade, Z3TA+’s distinctive sound has been a staple of electronic artists the world over.
