The SE Electronics SE2200A II Cardioid Condenser Microphone is the latest in a lineage of SE2200 condenser microphones. They have been used to great effect in top level studios worldwide for over a decade on classic albums such as Back To Black by Amy Winehouse.
The SE2200A II Cardioid Condenser Microphone is fitted with the classic, custom, hand crafted 1-inch gold sputtered diaphragm that made the original SE2200A a staple in all top recording studios. It also features a low cut filter and a 10dB pad switch to make it an all-round great microphone for a wide range of applications.
The microphone has been given a new facelift too. The new black rubberised paint finish not only makes it look great, but also helps to attenuate chassis resonance which can cause a problem with other large diaphragm condenser microphones.
The world renowned sound and the boutique build quality of the SE2200A II has made it the best selling microphone in the UK for the last 10 years.
