The Superego pedal really comes to life when you use it with other FX pedals because it allows you to integrate other pedals into its FX loop so that there is a processed 'frozen' chord that you can then play a dry guitar sound over the top of. It routes the looped guitar sound through whatever pedals you might choose and the normal guitar signal just carries straight through, so the end result is two very different signals running into one amp.

Best fun I've had with a guitar for ages.

A very unique and interesting pedal, on it's own it sounds ok but really needs a good reverb like the Cathedral and an Octaver/Harmonizer like the Pog to get the best out of it. It takes a while to set up and using it live might be a pain but it's possible, if you want something a little different ... Read More.
