Scheduled to hit our store early next month (July 2013), we're pleased to announce the new Traktor Kontrol Z1 from Native Instruments. This compact little mixer is extremely versatile. You can either connect it to your computer via USB for a way of getting more hands-on with Traktor Pro 2 software, or you can hook it up to an iPad or iPhone and use it with Traktor DJ on the iOS platform (it even comes with a 30-pin iOS cable for connecting up)!
The Traktor Kontrol Z1 is a portable two-channel mixer controller with a pro-quality built-in soundcard. You can connect your headphones directly to it and even hook up a pair of powered speakers or amp!

Some fantastic news for all DJs out there. Traktor version 2.5.1 software provides plug-and-play usability with Pioneer's CDJ Series (2000, 900 and 400) and the DJM-900 Nexus mixer thanks to its advanced HID support! This means that you now get seamless integration between these Pioneer products and Traktor software, allowing you to use your CDJs as hardware controllers for Traktor software and display all relevant information on the CDJ screen!

On 7th July 2012 between 1pm and 5pm, we will be hosting a FREE Traktor Kontrol F1 masterclass at our current Poole store on Nuffield Road. The afternoon will introduce the new features of the Traktor F1 controller, and will show how you can use it to control the new features of Traktor 2.5, in particular the innovative Remix Decks. This free session will teach you how to master the F1's DJ-centric features, without having to plough through the user-manual.
